KOCHI: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) should consider revoking affiliations granted to self-financing engineering colleges with poor pass percentage and lacking infrastructure, a division bench of the Kerala high court ordered on Thursday.
Division bench of Justice CN Ramachandran Nair and Justice CK Abdul Rehim directed AICTE to consider revoking affiliations after evaluating pass percentage of self-financing engineering colleges in the state for the past three years as well as after going through reports of surprise raids conducted by a court-appointed committee at the colleges.
